The
follow up to 'A Taezali Tippence', this book contains more humorous and reflective pieces. Written mostly in Doric there
should be something here to suit most tastes.
At £3.00 (+pp) it is on sale throughout the area and from myself
by contacting me at my e-mail address.
The
poem 'The Fishing' was featured on the BBC Radio Scotland Sunday
morning show 'The Reel Blend' hosted by Robbie Shepherd. On this
occasion it was followed by Isla St Clair singing the haunting
ballad 'The Bonny Boats of Buckie'.
Two of the poems (Seascape and Ebb & Flow) were selected to
accompany pictures in the book 'Where the Land Meets the Sea'
published in 1997 by photographer Orlando Gaultieri.
'The Village Corner Shop' was highly commended in the 1996 Doric
Poetry writing competition and several of the other pieces have
been published in the Aberdeenshire Councils' arts magazine, 'The
Broken Fiddle'.
