All you need to do is supply a selection of good, clear photographs. This takes a lot of the guesswork out of the project and helps ensure that I capture the best possible likeness. The colouring of the animal is important and again the photographs should be as good a representation of the natural colour as possible. However one good picture is often enough to achieve success. This applies to all commissions, animals, boats, cars, houses, landscapes etc. For local customers, it can be arranged for me to take digital photographs of the subject. Photographed on my premises, this costs £10.00 and at other locations £20.00.
Commisions are usually completed within four weeks. If a specific dateline is required that should be made clear at time of ordering.

All commisions are accepted with a 40% deposit (non returnable) when ordering. The balance is due upon completion of the work and when received, the painting will be dispatched. In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied, simply return the painting within 14 days and I will refund the fee (minus deposit and postage charges). For orders outside the UK full payment is required prior to commencement.

The portraits will be delivered by Post Office recorded delivery (insured) and as these costs may vary, a quote will be given for postage prior to acceptance of the commission.

All portraits are delivered unframed. This keeps postage costs down, reduces the chances of damage and allows the client greater choice in choosing a suitable frame to match their decor.
